Stillwater Junior High School Sports

SCCS Students in 7^th and 8^th grade have the opportunity to participate in some after school sports offered by District 834.

Students may participate in the following sports:

At Stillwater Junior High School
Football - fall
Cross Country - fall
Swimming – girls in fall; boys in winter
Synchronized swimming - spring (Cost is $155 for 7th grade and $165 for 8th grade)
Track - spring (Cost is $165 for 7th grade and $175 for 8th grade)
Tennis – girls in fall; boys in spring (Cost is $155 for 7th grade and $165 for 8th grade)
Wrestling – winter
8^th grade Soccer – fall (if a CAA team does not form)

At Stillwater Area High School – register at SAHS Athletic Office and sign an independent study contract in the SCCS office.
Nordic Skiing – winter
Downhill Skiing - winter
Varsity Swimming – girls in fall; boys in spring

Students signing up for sports at Stillwater Junior High School will miss their 7^th hour class at SCCS and will need to sign an independent study contract for the missed class. No transportation is provided by SCCS or District 834 for students to the Junior High School or High School. Note that the cost of these sports for SCCS students is different from the cost for SJHS students.

Registration is currently taking place for Spring 2010 SJHS sports. Boys' Tennis, Boys' and Girls' Track, begin on April 4th and Sychronized Swimming begins on April 11th. These forms are needed to register:

Please return forms to Mrs. Polley in the SCCS office to receive a receipt to give to the coach on the first day of practice. No students are admitted to practice without this receipt.
