Focus on Basics Builds Solid Foundation
St. Croix Catholic School supports a traditional framework of education that specifies what content is taught from one year to the next. Our primary and intermediate grade programs emphasize basics in language arts, reading, science, and mathematics. Spanish, social studies, art, music, library skills and religion complete the programming. Computer technology enhances problem-solving and learning experiences in every subject.
Our middle school program fosters intellectual ambition, strong study skills, and lifelong love of learning. All courses within the Middle School program are structured in a three-year package. As an example, sixth grade history centers on World History, from ancient history to about 1600, with seventh grade studies launching at the year 1600 and journeying through Early American History. Eighth grade completes the journey from 1860 through modern time.
Our focus on providing solid basics in a respectful learning environment is a combination that has proven successful for over 150 years.
